Why Acts of Service?

 ”It is the teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas that although mercy is as it were the spontaneous product of charity, yet it is to be reckoned a special virtue adequately distinguishable from this latter“In this Jubilee Year of Mercy specially, we invite parish youth groups to focus on the power of Corporal works of mercy.  Charity is one of the greatest attributes we have as a Catholic virtue.  We serve because we love.  We love because God loved us first.  Let us show our teens the power of charity and mercy.
